i hv 2 cab driver stories to share..

1 of thm was,

took a cab to wk..
went up e cab, saw a lady driver..
thr were buddha & 佛珠 in e cab..

we chat.. i ask her, 你是佛教徒..?
she said yes.. i ask her 你有修行..?
she ask wht do i mean by 修行..?
i said, 受五戒..?
she ask me my definition of 受戒..
i told her, 不杀生, 不偷盗, 不饮酒 etc..

she ask whether i m a buddhist..?
i told her yes i m.. but i m nt a v gd disciple..
she ask which temple i go,
told her once in awhile i only visit 四马路观音庙..

she said being a buddhist nd nt must 受五戒 thn consider 修行..
she said anybody cn practice in their daily life..
such as, to change over bad thg/habit..
eg, if u r bad temper, u cn train urself, change tht..
she said tis is 修行 too..

we chat alot.. thn she ask whether did i 皈依..?
told her yes.. whn i was v v young alrdy 皈依..
she ask who is my 师父..? fr whr..?
told her is ard changi..
she ask is it private estate..?
told her yes..
she ask is it 佛缘林..?
i was reali surprise to hear wht she said..
reply her yes..

she thn said she is also fr thr..
she said she also 皈依 thr..
& we hv e same 师父.. haha..
wht a small world..

my grandma at tht temple whn she was young..
everybody go to e temple knws her..
i told e lady cab driver she is my grandma..

she asked abt grandma..
& said she is gona pick 1 of e 师父 up latr..

i apologise to her cos my food (lotus soup) made e whole cab smell..
imagine she is gona pick 师父 up..

went up a cab at my pl & told e man SNA5..
he asked go by whr..? i said TPE..
thn he ask go ot fr whr..? i said sengkang east, 2nd exit..
he ask, 'is it near e petrol station..?
i said yes..

he said : '小姐,你的香水很香..'
me smile & reply : 'thank q..'
he said : '我好像载过你...'
me : 'ooo.. 是吗...?'
he : '不过不是这里.. is sm whr else..'
me smiling, thinking..
he : 'i remembr is nt here.. is at tanah merah..'
i was amazed.. haha..

he said he remembr me, towards same place SNA5,
but different pick up point..
i told him i shifted..

these 2 cabby stories make me feel 世界真是小小小..
& i belief in 缘份.. is at tht particular moment,
particular place, met tht particular person..

just like tht lady cabby..
she & me went to e same temple for so so so many yrs..
i used to go thr v often whn i was a kid to visit grandma..
but we didnt knw each othr til tht day i took her cab..

we may wk in e same pl, we may wk in e same building..
we may stay in e same flr, or may take a same bus everyday..
if thr is no 缘份.. we wil nt knw each othr..

so, if we happen to knw each othr.. cherish e frenshp..
